To save searches in Ovid, follow these steps:
- From the Healey Library homepage click on Databases & Indexes
- Select "O" and then Ovid Premier Nursing Journals Plus Nursing@Ovid
- If you are off campus, you will be prompted to enter your last name and library barcode
- Check the box next to "All Resources," then click "OK"
- Enter your search terms into the box
- Expand the Search History above the results list
- Check the box to the left of the search you would like to save
- Click "Save" or "Save All" (if you are saving more than one search)
- Log into your Personal Account or create a new account
- Give a name to your search and add any comments you have
- Select "Temporary," "Permanent," "AutoAlert," "Expert Searches," or "My Projects" from the Type dropdown list
- Click "Save"
To save articles, follow these steps:
- From the Healey Library homepage click on Databases & Indexes
- Select "O" and then Ovid Premier Nursing Journals Plus Nursing@Ovid
- If you are off campus, you will be prompted to enter your last name and library barcode
- Check the box next to "All Resources," then click "OK"
- Enter your search terms into the box
- Click on the title of the article you would like to save
- Under "Tools" on the right side of the screen, click "Save Article Text"
- Select the format you'd like to save the article in
- Click "Continue"
- Select where on your computer you'd like to save the article and the file name
- Click "Save"
If the article you would like to save has a PDF copy available, you can click on "Article as PDF" under "Tools," then either download or print the PDF.
