Q. How do I get access to the library databases and other online resources?

You can access all electronic content provided by Healey Library anytime and anywhere, as long as you have internet! All of our online resources are accessed through Single Sign On (SSO) using your @umb.edu email address and password. You can access Healey Library's:

• UMBrella
• Databases List
• Electronic Resources (ebooks, articles in databases, streaming videos, etc.)

When you click on the link to a database or ebook from the Healey Library website, you will be prompted to enter your email user name and password if you are off campus. When you are on campus you can go directly to the e-resources without signing in.

You can also sign in to the library in general using the "sign in" option in the top right corner of UMBrella. This enables you to save articles and searches performed through UMBrella and view your account/renew materials. 

If you are unable to log into the library, try the following:

1. Close your browser then reopen it. 
2. Choose a different browser. 
3. Clear your browser history and cache (find more browser instructions at Refreshyourcache)
4. Be sure Cookies are enabled on your browser.
5. If you are still are having a problem, contact Ask a Librarian and include details about your browser, the error message and a screen shot. The more information you provide, the better we can help you.
