To find information such as title, author, or date on a webpage sometimes you need to do some digging around the website. Most of the information will be found in the header or the footer of the website.
The header of a website will include the name of the website, and sub organization links or titles.
If the information that you are seeking is not on the page that you are looking at, move up the website. For example: if the web page www.something.com/article.htm does not contain information such as the author, move up to www.something.com to find the information.
Articles or blogs published on websites will usually have the publication date along with name of the author.
