Use Mergent Online in the Healey List of databases. This information will provide a graph of prices for a time period that you specify.

For example, Quaker Oats:

  • Search for Quaker Oats or OAT
  • Click the Equity Pricing tab from the company record
  • Select the Time Frame
  • Click Report to view and download data in Excel

You can also use Yahoo finance on the internet to find the historical price of a currently active stock such as Pepsico  In this case the stock is Pepsico and the symbol is PEP.  When you get to the main page of Yahoo finance, you can type in the symbol and then you will get information on the stock of the company. Select the Historical Data tab. Then choose the time period you need.
