To save searches in Ovid, follow these steps:

  1. From the Healey Library homepage click on Databases & Indexes
  2. Select "O" and then Ovid Premier Nursing Journals Plus Nursing@Ovid
  3. If you are off campus, you will be prompted to enter your last name and library barcode
  4. Check the box next to "All Resources," then click "OK"
  5. Enter your search terms into the box
  6. Expand the Search History above the results list
  7. Check the box to the left of the search you would like to save
  8. Click "Save" or "Save All" (if you are saving more than one search)
  9. Log into your Personal Account or create a new account
  10. Give a name to your search and add any comments you have
  11. Select "Temporary," "Permanent," "AutoAlert," "Expert Searches," or "My Projects" from the Type dropdown list
  12. Click "Save"

To save articles, follow these steps:

  1. From the Healey Library homepage click on Databases & Indexes
  2. Select "O" and then Ovid Premier Nursing Journals Plus Nursing@Ovid
  3. If you are off campus, you will be prompted to enter your last name and library barcode
  4. Check the box next to "All Resources," then click "OK"
  5. Enter your search terms into the box
  6. Click on the title of the article you would like to save
  7. Under "Tools" on the right side of the screen, click "Save Article Text"
  8. Select the format you'd like to save the article in
  9. Click "Continue"
  10. Select where on your computer you'd like to save the article and the file name
  11. Click "Save"

If the article you would like to save has a PDF copy available, you can click on "Article as PDF" under "Tools," then either download or print the PDF.
