Healey Library is open to fully vaccinated visitors from outside the UMB community. They are expected to follow all campus safety protocols, which means that visitors must be fully vaccinated & boosted and should complete a daily self-check before coming to campus.

At this time, regular library visitors will not be required to show proof of vaccination to enter. Visiting researchers to Archives will be verifying vaccination status when they make their research appointment.

Please do not visit if you are currently positive for COVID-19 or have symptoms.

Visitors can access UMass Boston e-resources from any open computer in the library. To check out materials from our physical collection you must meet one of these criteria: 

NOTE: All Massachusetts residents are eligible for Boston Library Consortium cards by first acquiring a Boston Public Library card. Requests for Consortium Cards must be made to the information desk or reference staff at the Boston Public Library.
