Use Mergent Online in the Healey List of databases. This information will provide a graph of prices for a time period that you specify. You can type in the stock symbol for Quaker Oats which I believe was OAT prior to its merger with PEP.
- Search for Quaker Oats or OAT
- Click the Equity Pricing tab from the company record
- Select the Time Frame
- Click Report to view and download data in Excel
You can also use Yahoo finance on the internet to find the historical price of a currently active stock such as Pepsico In this case the stock is Pepsico and the symbol is PEP. When you get to the main page of Yahoo finance at http://finance.yahoo.com/ you can type in the symbol and then you will get information on the stock of the company. Over on the left hand side you should see a list of options which includes "historical prices" Click on that and enter the dates that you need.
