The library has online subscriptions to several Massachusetts newspapers, including the Plymouth County Business Review. However, none of these newspapers go back to the 1970s. The Boston Globe is available in microfilm from its first edition. The microfilm is located on the 4th floor.

The Boston Public Library has an excellent newspaper collection. They have the Cape Cod Times online beginning in 11/01/1998 through Newsbank. They also have it in the Microtext department beginning in 1975. Check the Microtext's list of Massachusetts newspapers to see what other papers are available. They are listed by town.

If you don't have a Boston Public Library card, you can apply for an ecard which will provide you with online access.
