Kindle Fire is compatible with Ebook Central. To download ebooks, chapters or page ranges from an ebook follow the directions below:
Computer setup (one-time event):
- Create an Adobe ID if you don’t already have one.
- Install Adobe Digital Editions on your computer. You should be prompted to enter your Adobe ID.
Download ebook
- Download the free software Adobe Digital Editions.
- Download the ebook
- Select loan period
- Click on download
- Connect the Kindle to your computer via the USB cable, when the device is recognized by Adobe Digital Editions, drag and drop the ebook to the Kindle.
- The ebook selection will now appear on the Kindle.
